Carolina Rice (500g)
Carolina rice is a medium grain white rice.
It has the special ability to absorb fats and that is why it is suitable for pilaf that will not drain. It is also suitable for baked goods.
Ideal way and cooking time:
1 part Carolina, it takes 2½ - 3 parts liquid to cook.
It takes around 13΄ minutes if we want it to last a little and 15΄ minutes if we like it softer.
FOR STUFFED AND RISOT
Risotto with vegetables.1 large onion, 3 garlic cloves, 2 tomatoes, 1 zucchini, 2 Florin peppers, 2 glasses of Carolina rice wine, 1 tablespoon salt, A little pepper, 2 tablespoons 5 chopped mint, 3 cloves of mint, 3 cloves of mint glasses of wine boiling water, 1/2 glass of wine olive oil. Collect all our ingredients and grate them on the grater. In a deep frying pan or saucepan we will pour the olive oil and we will put the onion, the garlic, the zucchini and the pepper and we will let them wither a little, then we will add the rice, a light frying and finally the tomato, salt and pepper, parsley and mint. A good mix and bring the water to a boil, close the lid, lower it from 9 to 3 and boil it for 15 minutes. Take it from the stove and leave it for another 5 minutes with the lid closed.
